Anti-spam policy

Stevens Wells does not advertise this website, or anything else we offer, through unsolicited messages. Spam is a poor way to treat people and a poor way to build a business.

What we will not do

We do not send unsolicited bulk or commercial email, text messages, faxes, or automated calls to promote this site. We do not post promotional messages to forums, comment sections, social media, or message boards that have not invited them. We do not buy, rent, harvest, or scrape email addresses or phone numbers, and we do not send to lists obtained that way.

We do not disguise who we are. Our messages carry accurate sender information, honest subject lines, and a valid physical address.

Who we contact

We contact people who reached out to us, who asked to hear from us, or who already do business with us. We also make individually researched business introductions. Those are written for one company by a person, are never sent in bulk, and stop the moment you ask.

Opting out

Every commercial message we send includes a working way to unsubscribe. You can also reply to any message, or write to contact@stevenswells.com, and we will remove you. We honor opt-out requests within ten business days and usually much sooner. You never have to pay, create an account, or give us anything else to opt out.

Partners, affiliates, and vendors

Anyone who markets on our behalf is bound by this policy. We do not permit contractors, affiliates, lead vendors, or marketing agencies to promote Stevens Wells through unsolicited messages of any kind. We end relationships with anyone who does, and we are not responsible for messages sent in our name by anyone we have not authorized.

Client work

The same standard applies to the marketing we run for clients. We build permission-based lists and campaigns that comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other applicable law. We will not run a campaign that depends on unsolicited messaging.

Reporting abuse

If you received a message promoting Stevens Wells that you did not ask for, we want to know. Forward it with full headers to contact@stevenswells.com and we will investigate and reply.
